for me they are too simplistic and look like every other media website, whereas the old ones had more unique character to them. and there really was no need to change them, i wish tumblr would spend their time/resources increasing the ask limit!

Yeah, what I really don’t get is Tumblr’s obsession with fixing what’s not broken. It does seem as if they’re trying to look like the other popular sites, when Tumblr once claimed it was different from the rest. Unlimited ask characters would be very nice indeed!
